Mona Katherine Decker, age 81, of Caneyville KY, passed away Sunday, (March 20, 2011) at the Twin Lakes Regional Hospital in Leitchfield.
She was born on March 30, 1929, in Yeaman KY, the daughter of Lone and Lorene (Willoughby) Young. She was a housewife and homemaker
.
She is survived by husband Willie "Capp" Decker Jr., six sons, Richard, William Darrell, Paul, Jeff, David all of Caneyville and Dwight Decker of Falls of Rough, four sisters, Joyce Eldean Clark, Jonell Layman, Rose Marie June all of Louisville and Doris Woosley of Caneyville, one brother Mitchell Ross Young of Fordsville, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. (March 23, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home with Bro. Daryl Glenn officiating. Burial will be in the Yeaman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service.
