Moran Mudd, age 68, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Thursday, (March 8, 2007) at the University of Louisville Hospital.

He was born on February 23, 1939, in Grayson County, KY, the son of Guy and Stella Carroll Mudd. He was a warehouse worker and spreader truck driver for Southern States Coop in Leitchfield.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Mudd of Leitchfield, one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Warren Barton of Leitchfield, one sister and brother-in-law, Aileen and Carl Hayes of Leitchfield, three grandchildren, Amanda Armstrong of Louisville, Rachel and Dustin Armstrong of Leitchfield, one half brother Rick Mudd (Faye) of Dayton Ohio, two half sisters, Darlene Drake (Brad) of San Jose California, and Lisa Fowler (Pat) of Fort Meyers Florida.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (March 11, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Denver Young will be officiating. Burial will be in the Saddler Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, and after 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Sunday
