Obituary
Morris Clay Craig, age 78, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Monday, (January 25, 2016) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on December 3, 1937 in Bowling Green, KY, the son of the late Gavin Grundy and Elsie Crawford Craig.
He was a retired principal of the Grayson County Vocational School, who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and a member of the Leitchfield First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Helen Meredith Craig, three sons, Gavin Craig (Jodie) of Lima, Ohio, William Meredith Craig (Gail) of Clarkson and Burton Charles Montross of Clarkson, five grandchildren, Dylan, Peyton, and Austin Craig, Sadonna Cornwell and Ashley Montross, and five great grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, G. G. and Winnie Craig.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, (January 30, 2016) at the Leitchfield First United Methodist Church. Bro. Fred Whitmore and Bro. Charles Meredith will be officiating, under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at the Church from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until time of services.
Expressions of sympathy can take the form of donations to the Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
