Muriel Decker White, age 87, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Saturday, (June 7, 2014) at Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on September 30, 1926 in Yeaman, KY, the daughter of the late William Stanley and Rebecca Renfrow Decker.
She was a housewife who enjoyed sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her two sons, Mike White of Caneyville, and Bruce White (Rhonda) of Falls of Rough; three grandchildren, Shannon White, Stacy Elmore (Pat), and Jenifer M. White; her brother, William Stanley "Cap" Decker, Jr. of Yeaman; her sister, Mildred Fugate of Louisville; three great-grandchildren, Coltyn Zane Grant, and Logan and Jordan Elmore; two step- great-grandchildren, Brandi Elmore-Geisert, and Ashley Marie Elmore; her daughter-in-law, Judy Young; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. White, a son, Ronnie G. White, and ten brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (June 10, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Mahurin Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
