Obituary
Murrell "Butch" Earles, age 69, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (February 20, 2011) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on June 10, 1941, in Grayson County KY, the son of James and Mildred Taylor Earles. He was a Vietnam Veteran, retired from G.E., and was a member of the Leitchfield First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge # 236, Leitchfield Shriners Club, and Kosair Shriners of Louisville.
He is survived by one son, Tim Earles of Leitchfield, three grandchildren, Kristyn Earles of Louisville, Cady and Dylan Earles both of Bowling Green, one half-brother, Jimmy Earles of Elizabethtown, KY, one half-sister, Barbara Steves of IN. He was preceded in death by his parents,and one son Steve.
In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to Kosair Children's Hospital and the Leitchfield First Baptist Church Nicaragua Mission Trips.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (February 23, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Dave Martin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (February 22, 2011)
Masonic service will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
