Obituary
Myrtle Lillian Stogner Young, age 88, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (January 21, 2009) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on April 6, 1920, in Ohio County KY, the daughter of James Alfred and Lisetta (Christian) Stogner. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra Smith of Bowling Green, one grandson, Brian Smith (Tasha) of LaVergne, Tennessee, and one great grandson, Boston Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, JV Young, and one son, Don Young.
Funeral services will be at 11:00a.m. Friday (January 23, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Netherland will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
