Obituary
Nancy Layman Probus, age 77 of Irvington, KY, passed away Friday, (November 28, 2014) at the Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center in Hardinsburg, KY.
She was born on March 4, 1937 in Frankfort, KY, the daughter of the late William Baily Layman and Rose Marie Brown Layman.
She was a retired secretary at Ft Knox, who enjoyed University of Kentucky basketball and was a member of the Irvington Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Tommy Probus (Cheri) of Irvington, one daughter, Laura Lynn Thomas (Ricky) of Owensboro, KY and a grandson, Cannon Crawford.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon central standard time Monday, (December 1, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Whitmore will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. central standard time Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
