Obituary
Nancy Louise Sweany, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (June 1, 2016) at Spring View Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.
She was born on April 20, 1930, in Annapolis, Maryland, to the late Jacob and Pauline Crum Wagner.
She retired from the Broward County Public School system, where she worked as a cook in the cafeteria. Everyone knew her as "Nancy with the smiling face". She enjoyed cooking, loved her flowers, and loved to dance. She volunteered at the vet clinic. She was a member of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her son, Mario Doliana, of Hollywood, Florida; her daughter, Nanzett Miller, of Leitchfield; two brothers, Jeremiah Wagner of Leitchfield, and Jack Wagner of Florida.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Sweany, and two sisters Shirley Sears and Alice Wagner.
Cremation was chosen, with a private burial at a later date.
