Naomi Hester Wade age 86, of Louisville, KY., passed away Thursday December 31, 2009.
She was born November 21, 1923 in Edmonson County, KY., the daughter of Jefferson and Gertha Rigdon Hester. She was a member of Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert L. Wade and infant daughter, Wanda Lee Wade.
She is survived by 5 children, Shirley Lowe, Linda (Bobby) Mertz, Danny (Bonnie), Gary (Dawn) and Dale Wade. Thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, one brother, Delmer Hester and one sister Catherine Wade.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday (January 3, 2010) at the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church.
Visitation will be after 12:30 p.m. Saturday (January 2, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
