Neil Embry, age 84, of Millwood, KY, passed away Saturday (November 1, 2008) at his residence.
He was born on September 2, 1924 in Neafus , KY, the son of Guy and Eliza (Bratcher) Embry. He attended the New Harvest Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Willadean Muffett Embry, two sons, Harlos of Caneyville and Mike (Maurita) of Millwood, five daughters, Barbara Lush (Joseph), Joyce Guy and Gina Heilman (Rev. Casey) all of Louisville, June Brownd (Sonny) of Olaton, KY, and Sonja Embry of Memphis TN, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Garnetta Mercer of Louisville, Alice McKeever of Lincoln AR.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday (November 5 , 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, with Bro. Jason Bratcher officiating with burial in the Cain Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
