Obituary
Nelda Faye Seaton, age 89, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Thursday, (April 21, 2016) at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.
She was born on July 22, 1926, in Big Reedy, KY, the daughter of the late V.T. and Minnie Huff Woosley.
She worked as a school teacher until her retirement, and was a member of the Shrewsbury Church of Christ and the Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by two sons, Kendell Seaton and his wife, Kathy, of Lexington, KY, Phillip Seaton and his wife, Linda, of Brownsville, KY; a daughter, Jane Brown and her husband, Tommy, of Caneyville, KY; 6 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Noval Ray Seaton, a great-grandchild, Taylor Grace Grow, a brother, McKelvy Woosley; and a sister in law, Freida Woosley.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (April 25, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Craig Collins will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Garden.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
