Nicholas “Nick” Morrison, age 32, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Monday, (June 01, 2026) at his home.

He was born on, December 07, 1993 in Louisville, KY, the son of Eric and Suzanne Cissell Morrison.

He enjoyed doing anything outdoors, from hunting and fishing. He loved it more than life itself. Nick had recently accepted a position at Roundstone Native Seed and was a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving parents, Eric and Suzanne Morrison of Clarkson. He was a great and loving brother to Emily Starr (Brad) of Shelbyville, KY and a loving uncle to their son, Dawson. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Joe & Marleen Cissell; his beloved beagle, Bowser, and a large, loving family full of aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Morrison and Evie English.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, (June 04, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Aaron Tucker will be officiating.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Grayson County High School Fishing Team.
