Obituary

Norman Cave, age 84, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Sunday, (July 20, 2014) at his home.

He was born on July 29, 1929 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Wiley H. and Carrie May Sturgen Cave.

He was retired as a welder from International Harvester and a former foreman of American Standard for 21 years. He was a member, Elder and Chaplain-Pastor for 30 years at Bethel Fellowship in McDaniels, KY. Norman was a Bible scholar, and loved to study Eschatology. He was a scuba diver, loved to hike the Mammoth Cave area, and was known for his sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kledith Caudill Cave; two daughters, Sherry Bryant of Falls of Rough, formerly of Madison IN, and Carol Bader (John) of Fredericksburg IN; five grandchildren, Lisa Langley, Laura Skidmore, Jeremy, Julia and Joseph Lynch; three great-grandchildren; a niece, Naomia Keith; and extended family and friends.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynch and a brother, Morris Cave.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (July 24, 2014) at the Bethel Fellowship in McDaniels, KY. Bro. Ron Miller will be officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the Bethel Fellowship until time of services.
