Obituary
Odell Bryant, age 95, of Welchs Creek, KY., passed away Wednesday (January 31, 2007) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.
He was a farmer and a member of the Caneyville Church of Christ. He was born on July 21, 1911, in Butler County, KY, the son of A. G. and Martha Ellen Embry Bryant.
He is survived by one son, Dale Bryant of Welchs Creek, one step-son, Lyndon Geary of Louisville, KY, one brother, Otis Bryant of Caneyville, KY; two sisters, Macie Higgs and Myrl Day both of Caneyville, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several step grand and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, his wife, Ida Mae Embry Bryant.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday (February 3, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Fred Stacy officiating. Burial is in the Wilson Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville after 2:00 p.m. Friday.
