Obituary
Orin "Kip" Decker, age 81, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (August 12, 2017) at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.
He was born on November 03, 1935 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late William and Millie Hayes Decker.
He owned and operated Southgate Auto Body/ Kip's Auto Sales for 20+ years and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He attended Unity Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife, June Reed Decker of Leitchfield; a son, Martin Cook (Mary) of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Sandra Meredith (James) and Tammy Garner (John), both of Bee Springs, KY; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and several great-great grandchildren. His "oldest daughter" Mildred Caldwell, of Florida and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ulyssa Decker, and a granddaughter, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (August 17, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Hack will be officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
