Obituary
Otis A. Embry, age 77, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday (June 3, 2007) at his residence.
He was a carpenter, a US army veteran, member of the V.F.W. & American Legion. He was born on August 26, 1929, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of Otis & Maymie Payton Embry.
He is survived by his wife Gearldine Swift Embry of Caneyville, 3 daughters Ann (Pete) Gallahue of Louisville, Cathy Spencer of Caneyville, Patricia(Billy) Monroe of Crestwood, 3 sons Roger(Pat) Embry of Caneyville, Freddie Embry of Caneyville & Timmy Embry of Horse Branch, 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (June 6, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Buddy Swift will be officiating. Burial is in the Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.
