Otis Ray Hayes II, age 62, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Tuesday, (March 10, 2009) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on October 23, 1946 in Greenville, Ohio the son of Otis and Daisy Embry Hayes I. He was a member of the V.F.W. post 3852 in Falls of Rough, KY., employed by the Corps of Engineers for 16 years and was a fourteen year Army Veteran with two tours of duty in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Christel A. Hayes of Falls of Rough, one son; Otis Ray Hayes III (Cynthia) of Falls of Rough, two daughters; Charlette Woodcock (Joshua) of Welch's Creek, KY., and Dorothy Arnold (Kenny) of McDaniels, KY., one brother, Ernest Eugene Hayes of Frankfort, KY., also surviving are nine sisters and seven grandchildren survive.

Cremation was chosen at Mr. Hayes request and the family will receive friends at their home on Friday and Saturday from 2 to 7 pm with a memorial service to follow Saturday night's visitation.
