Otis Saltsman, age 91, of Leitchfield KY, passed away Saturday, (September 17, 2011) at his home.

He was born on August 2, 1920, in Grayson County, KY, the son of Will and Phoeby Ashley Saltsman. He was a retired farmer, an Army Veteran of World War II and was a member of the McGrew General Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son, Donald Saltsman (Beulah) of Leitchfield four grandchildren, Matthew, Taylor, Jamie and Timmy Saltsman and four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Brayden, Taylor and Breanna Saltsman.

Other than his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Saltsman, a son, Jimmy Saltsman and a brother, Lawrence Saltsman.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (September 22, 2011) at the McGrew General Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Bro Charlie Smith and Bro. Bill Skipworth will be officiating. Burial will be in the Decker Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at McGrew General Baptist Church until time of service on Thursday.
