Obituary
Owen D. Armes, age 83, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (May 3, 2008) at his residence.
He was born on February 19, 1925, in Breckinridge County KY, the son of George W. and Amanda Davis Armes. He was a World War 2 Army veteran and was retired from the Sewer Treatment plant for the City of Leitchfield and was also retired from the Grayson County War Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Timmy Beville of Leitchfield, one sister, Judith Graham of Vine Grove, KY, and three grandchildren, Eric Armes, Lora Beth Miller and Andya Faith Carnes, and three great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and George Armes and Andrew Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife, Venita, a son, Danny, a granddaughter, Apryl Danielle Beville, a sister, Cora Hamlow and a special friend, Corda Hack.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday (May 6, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe and Ernie Vincent will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
