Ozella Armes, age 94, of Pewee Valley, KY, formerly of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (April 21, 2008) at the Friendship Manor in Pewee Valley.

She was born on March 14, 1914, in Graves County KY, the daughter of E. C. and Gay Layman Coles. She was a housewife and was a member of the Shrewsbury Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Ronald Armes of Leitchfield, four daughters, Alice Minton (Bert)of Louisville, Vivian Follis (Bill)of Missouri, Wilma Armes of California and Doris Collins of LaGrange, KY, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lewis Armes, a granddaughter and grandson, Rhonda Gary and Mark Collins.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (April 24, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
