Obituary
Patricia Chambers Malone, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (August 9, 2009) at the Springview Health and Rehab Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on July 29, 1929, in Calvert County Maryland, the daughter of George Francis Sollers Chambers and Dorothy Gray Chambers. She was a retired social worker for Henricot Hanover County Virginia, a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield, and a past member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Solomans, Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Spalding College.
She is survived by one son, John Todd Malone of Macy, Indiana, three brothers, Peter Chambers of Bowie, Maryland, Richard Chambers of Burdett, New York, and Michael Chambers of Falls of Rough, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Francis Chambers, Jr.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday (August 14, 2009) at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Solomans, Maryland, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield is in charge of the local arrangements. Rausch Funeral Home in Maryland is in charge of the service in Maryland.
There will be no visitation.
