Patricia Ann “Pat” Embry, age 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (April 16, 2026) at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY.

She was born on May 05, 1948 in Morgantown, KY, the daughter of the late Thomas Melvin and Nellie Brandsford Miller.

She was a beautician and formerly owned and operated the Ready Store with her late husband, Charles Embry, as well as Tan Sensations & Beauty. Pat enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and visiting with her friends at the Senior Center. She was a longtime member of the Rabbit Flat (Union General) Baptist Church and had recently been attending the First General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, KrisCendia Embry Saltsman (Todd) and two grandchildren, Wyatt and Maggie Saltsman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Embry; four brothers, William, Wilbur, Charles & Alvie Miller; and three sisters, Juanita Glaze, Nellie Adkins & Alberta Belcher.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, (April 22, 2026) at Rabbit Flat Baptist Church in Caneyville. Bro. Larry Holman will be officiating. Burial will be in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and will move to Rabbit Flat Baptist Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
