Patricia “Patty” Henderson, age 85, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (July 29, 2026) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on January 07, 1941, in Jefferson County, KY the daughter of the late Alton and Neoma Chapman Blakley.

She was a housewife and a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, sewing, boating, skiing, fishing and making her famous cookies.

She is survived by her children, Karen Triplett (Rex), Lisa Buckner, Tony Henderson (Brandy) & Michael Henderson (Kim); six grandchildren, Chasity, Ashley, Daniel, Jared, Koby & Brock; three great-grandchildren, Elise, Sophia & Barrett; and a sister, Judy Rager (David). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Darward “Dob” Henderson; three brothers, Melvin, Junior & Jimmy; and two sisters, Shirley & Joyce.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (August 03, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
