Patricia "Pat" Mae Franklin, age 71, of Louisville, KY, passed away Friday, (July 21, 2023) at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on June 14, 1952 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late William Franklin and Shelly Burkhead Kahut.

She was a former Head Cashier at TARC and a former Bus Monitor for the Jefferson County Public School System. Pat loved to spend her free time fishing. She was a traveler who loved animals, especially dogs, and being an exceptional aunt to her nieces and nephews. She attended Shepherdville Gospel Mission Church

She is survived by her two nephews, James Watkins and Tommy Franklin; three nieces, Linda Tuncil Dennis, Kimberly Watkins Ficher, and Amy Franklin; several great nieces and nephews; one half-sister, Betty Franklin; and two brother-in-laws, Harrison Griffith and Ralph Nix.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Charlene Clark Kiper, Mary Deloris Clark Griffith, and Cathy "Sue" Clark Nix; one brother, Harold Franklin; three nieces, Marietta Watkins, LaVonna Tuncil Brock, and Lisa Conley Alvey; and two nephews Robert Watkins and Harold Tuncil.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST Saturday, (July 29, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jimmy Douthitt will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
