Patricia Ann Patterson Schroer, age 71, of Louisville, KY, passed away Wednesday, (May 13, 2026) at her home in Louisville.

Pat was born on May 16, 1954, in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward Patterson and Helen Marie Wilson Bartley.

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse who had worked at various nursing homes and hospitals in the Louisville area. She married her husband, Richard Joseph Schroer on July 26, 1996. They loved to travel and enjoyed their life together. Pat attended Fairdale Christian Church and was a member of their Life Group, B.A.R.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Joseph Schroer of Louisville; sons, Thomas Hudspeth of Louisville, Joseph Hudspeth of California, and Michael McIntosh of Louisville; step-son, Tommy L. Schroer of Louisville; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gregory and Larry Patterson.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, (May 16, 2026) at the Duff Cemetery, with memories being shared by friends and family. Burial will follow.
