Patricia Ann Ward, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (July 19, 2022) at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.

She was born on October 27, 1939 in Indiana, the daughter of the late Eugene and Della Whitt Ward.

She worked for Communicare and was a homemaker, who enjoyed creative writing, crocheting and reading.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Cain (James Sr.) of Hendersonville, KY; two grandchildren, James Aaron Cain Jr. & Gavin Cain; and three step-grandchildren, Amanda Cole & Ryan and Glenn Weiberg.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong partner, James Cole and a step-grandson Cortez Cole.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen.
