Patsy Jean Mudd, age 75, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday, (May 04, 2025) at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on September 05, 1949, in Rockport, IN, the daughter of the late Wilson Linden "WL" and Laura Dockery Lindsey.

She was a homemaker and a caregiver who enjoyed talking on the phone and spending time with her grandchildren, and was a member of the Caneyville Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald G. Mudd of Caneyville; three children, Leta Swift (Steve) of Leitchfield, Anthony Mudd (Kate) of Leitchfield, & Kerry Crume (Michael) of Caneyville; nine grandchildren, Loren Dudgeon (Ricky), Tyler Swift (Emily), Alanna Robinson (Cameron), Alexis Whobrey (Jacob), Kayden & Karsen Mudd, Emery & Jackson Crume, & Taylor Acia; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Lindsey (Deanna), & Jordan Lindsey (Stacey), both of Houston, TX; three sisters, Kathy & Cheri Lindsey, both of Morgantown, KY, and Charlotte Crume (Mark) of Caneyville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Freddie Lindsey, Sheila Mashburn, Brad Lindsey and Sylvia Boyette.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (May 12, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Steve Swift will be officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
