Paul Clyde, age 87, of Shepherdsville, KY, passed away Thursday, (December 6, 2018) at his home.

He was born on May 3, 1931 in Hodgenville, KY, the son of the late Clarence and Mayme Enlow Clyde.

He retired from General Electric, working as a parts manager. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. Paul enjoyed going to the tracks and betting on the horse races. He married Wanda Coates in 1963. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Clyde of Shepherdsville; two brothers, Kenneth (Jane), David (Gene) Clyde all of Hodgenville; one sister, Lois Clyde of Hodgenville; three step-grandchildren, Phillip Jacob, Michael David, and Peter John Barth; and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-child, Peter Barth; one sister and two brothers.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, (December 10, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services. All times are CST.
