Paul D. Yoder, age 74, of Belvidere, TN, passed away peacefully at the home of his son, where he was being cared for, on Friday, September 22, 2023 following an extended illness.

Paul was born on September 05, 1949 to Alvin N. Yoder & Ida (Byler) Yoder in Stuarts Draft, VA. He married his sweetheart, Mary Beiler, on April 03, 1970. In 1987 Paul & Mary, along with their seven children, moved from Stuarts Draft, VA to Belvidere, TN which was still his home. Paul was a loving and caring husband & father. Buncombe Mountain was his favorite place to be. He found fulfillment in helping others.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife Mary (Beiler) Yoder; parents Alvin N. Yoder & Ida (Byler) Yoder; brothers, Simon A. Yoder, Elmer A. Yoder & Norman A, Yoder; sisters Mary Jane (Yoder) Mast, Ruth (Yoder) Helmuth & Esther (Yoder) Troyer; grandson, Julian Andrew Yoder; granddaughter Heidi Elaine Yoder.

Paul is survived by his brother, Earl A. Yoder of Whiteville, TN & sister Martha Yoder of Costa Rica; daughter, Ida Mae Beachy & 4 children, 2 grandchildren of Belvidere, TN; son, John Dale (Karen) Yoder & 11 children of Smithville, TN; son Victor Paul (Marlene) Yoder & 7 children of Bee Springs, KY; son, Roman Earl (Brenda) Yoder & 8 children of Clarkson, KY; daughter, Mary Ann (Joshua) Yoder & 8 children of Owenton, KY; daughter, Teresa June (Jesse)Yoder & 8 children of Owenton, KY; and daughter Eunice Elaine (Marcus) Diller & 3 children of Sparta, TN.

Kentucky visitation will be at the Cedar Springs Mennonite Church from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2023 and will move to the Belvidere Mennonite Church on Monday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will resume from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, (September 26, 2023) at the Belvidere Mennonite Church with burial in the Belvidere Mennonite Church Cemetery.
