Paula Jo Burden, age 67, of Millwood, KY, passed away Wednesday, (March 12, 2014) at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on March 1, 1947 in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Nellda Bradshaw Cantway.

She was a housewife who enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, and the outdoors. She played piano and the accordion. She attended New Harvest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Burden of Millwood; four sons, Craig Burden of Breckinridge County, Joseph Thompson of Bowling Green, Kendall Williams (Stephanie) of Leitchfield, and Jamie Burden (Jenny) of Millwood; two daughters, Tammy Wolfe (Bryan) of Sterlington, LA, and Brandy Lee of Millwood; one brother, Scottie Cantway (Marla) of Leitchfield; eight grandchildren, Kristin Thompson, Shelby French, Kelsie Lee, Emma French, Landria Spencer, Austin Williams, Kason Burden, and Kanton Burden; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Isabella Drago; and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Cantway.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (March 16, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jeremy Atwood will be officiating. Burial will be in the Lahue-Bradshaw Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of service.
