Pearl Minton, age 92, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Monday, (July 02, 2018) at her home.

She was born on November 11, 1925 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lee and Theresa Higdon Alvey.

She was a housewife who enjoyed bowling and watching the UK Wildcats, and attended Smalls Grove Church.

She is survived by her four daughters, Brenda Crawford (Michael) of Caneyville, Susie Kessinger (Kevin) and Gail Barbee (Eddie) both of Beaver Dam, KY and Margo Collins (Wayne) of Caneyville; four grandchildren, Aaron, Jessica, Brittany and Amanda; six great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brenis, Christopher, Isabella, and Weston; three great-great granddaughters, Lilly Jo, Evelyn Pearl and Brenda Ann; and a sister, Geneva Wilson of Starlight, IN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Argo Minton; five brothers, Marshall, Fred, Albert, Jake and Paul Alvey; and four sisters, Carrie Thompson, Virgie Alvey, Nora Haycraft and Cora Dezarn.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Thursday, (July 5, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Randall Deweese will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
