Peggy Ruth Ramsey, age 61, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (February 28, 2024) at her home.

She was born on September 13, 1962 in Elizabethtown, KY, the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth White Sherrard.

She was a tax preparer at R&R Tax Services who enjoyed listening to music, watching U of L Basketball and playing games on her tablet and phone.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kelly Lee Ramsey of Leitchfield; her best friend and caregiver, Wanda Howard of Leitchfield; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including Brad and Tonya Mudd of Caneyville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (March 06, 2024) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Buddy Brooks and Bro. Billy Curle will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
