Penelope Hayse, age 75 , of Clarkson, KY, passed away Tuesday, (April 19, 2022) at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

She was born on February 23, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of the late Monroe and AlphaMae Webb Gibson.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, watching Westerns and The Golden Girls, listening to Elvis, talking with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Hayse Robertson of Bowling Green, KY, Michelle White of Leitchfield, Melissa Wilson (Phillip) of Clarkson and Danielle Haley (Chad) of Rockfield, KY; 10 grandchildren Chris, Matt, Courtney, Cati, Tommy, Aaron, Calamity, DJ, Makalah & Ethan; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Gibson of Indianapolis; and a sister-in-law, Revona Hayes of Anneta. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Hayse; infant twins; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Hayse; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (April 22, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wade Martin Hughes and Bro. Wilford Logsdon will be officiating. Burial will be in the McGrew Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
