Mary Evna (Pete) Nugent, age 96, of Debary, Fl, formally of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (November 27, 2007) in Florida.

She was born on June 10, 1911, in Bardstown, KY, the daughter of Edmond and Nora Parrott Mobley. She was a retired activity director for Aid Acres Nursing Home in Leitchfield and was a member of the Christian Guild and the Harmony Homemakers.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Woosley of Deland, Florida, one son, Ronnie Nugent of Lubbock, TX, five grandchildren, Kara Sloan, Michael Brian Woosley and Regina Bobay of Deland, Angela Nugent of Austin, TX and Michael Ronnie Nugent of Houston, TX, Nine great grandchildren, four great great grandchild, three sisters, Girtie Blewett of Denver, CO, and Nell Cook and Ruby Burckle both of Louisville, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbet, a son, Bailey Nugent and a granddaughter, Donya Faye Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (December 6, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Randell Deweese will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
