Obituary
Bro. Phillip L. Langdon, age 66, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (May 17, 2015) at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on October 20, 1948, in Grayson County, KY, the son of Charles and Juanita Meredith Langdon.
He was a self-employed carpenter, who enjoyed working with tractors, farming, fishing and hunting and was a member of the Short Creek United Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Penner Langdon, three daughters, Tammy Langdon of Owensboro, KY, Dana Newby (Aaron) of Lewisport, KY and Devon Tower (Brian) of Gainesville, VA, his mother, Juanita Langdon of Leitchfield, his grandchildren, Brad Saltsman, Sophia and Abigail Newby, and Megan and Emily Tower, his brother, Charles Glen Langdon (Janis) of Lindseyville KY and one sister, Brenda Whitfield (Mike) of Leitchfield.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Langdon.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (May 21, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joel Thompson and Bro. Gary Woosley will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
