Obituary
Phylis Genene "Nanny" Payne, age 75, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Wednesday, (August 25, 2010) at the Nortons Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on July 24, 1935, in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of the late Clifford and Mabel Oldham Givens. She was a food packer, a member of the Eastern Star and was a four year member of the McGrew Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Payne, two daughters, Phyllis Payne of Shepherdsville, KY and Deana Pickett of Hurricane, Utah, two grandchildren, Brandi Goff (Danny) of Louisville and Ashlie Pickett of Shepherdsville, two great-granddaughters, Hailey and Emilee Goff both of Louisville, one brother, Charles Givens (Lois) of Leitchfield, and one sister, Helen Embry (Roy) of Caneyville, KY.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday (August 29, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Tim Gage will be officiating. Burial will be in the McGrew Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until time of services.
