Phyllis Ann Beasley, age 71, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Wednesday (February 11, 2009) in Taylorsville, KY.
She was born on January 8, 1938, in Ballard Co., KY, the daughter of the late Noble and Ruby (Alexander) Jones.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a member of the East Fairview General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Lendal of Caneyville, a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Jr. Decker of Caneyville, a son, Jeff (Donna Banard) of Caneyville, a sister, Janice Robbins of Leitchfield, two brothers, Danny Jones and wife, Nancy of Louisville, KY, Paul Mitchell and Wife, Linda of Owensboro, two grandchildren, Emily Beasley of Caneyville and Lindsey Beasley of Beaver Dam, KY, one special little boy, Robert Banard of Leitchfield and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday (February 14, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Rev. Carl Decker Jr. will be officiating. Burial is in the Rabbit Flat Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
