Ralph Edward Allen, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (February 23, 2026) at his residence.

He was born on March 1, 1943 in Breckinridge County, KY, the son of the late Wavie and Mildred Dodson Allen.

Ralph retired from Houchens Industries after 40 + years working as a stock handler and bagger. He was a farmer who also enjoyed gardening, and growing flowers. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He married his late wife, Ruby White Allen on June 4, 1981. He was a member of First General Baptist Church in Leitchfield.

Ralph is survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Elliott of Breckinridge County and his two brothers, Jerry Allen of Louisville and Luther Allen of Breckinridge County; and also several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby White Allen and an infant brother.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, (March 3, 2026) at the Hudson Cemetery in Breckinridge County, KY. Bro. Buddy Brooks will be officiating. Burial will follow. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Ruby.
