Ralph H. Haycraft, age 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (May 09, 2026) at his home.
He was born on July 18, 1948 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Emory and Ambrose Smith Haycraft.
A Veteran of the U.S. Army, Ralph worked for the United States Postal Service for more than 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, riding horses, and spending time with family. He was a member of the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church for more than 50 years and a proud member of Leitchfield Masonic Lodge #236.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy Newton Haycraft of Leitchfield; son, Aaron Haycraft (Tracy) of Big Clifty, KY; three grandchildren, Ashlynn Pawley (Zack), Colton Haycraft & Braxton Haycraft; and three great-grandchildren, Levi, Elias and Taytum. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Haycraft, and two sisters, Norma and Patsy.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (May 18, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Blake Newton and Cecil Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mulberry Flats Cemetery.
A Masonic Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, (May 17, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
