Randall Smith, age 70, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday, (February 9, 2019) at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on September 3, 1948 in Breckinridge County, KY. He was raised by his grandparents, James and Cora Smith.

He retired as a line-worker for Leggett and Platt, Inc. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, watching television and University of Kentucky basketball. He was a member of Free Zion General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Joan Edwards Smith of Caneyville; sons, Scott Smith (Sherry) of Glasgow and Rodney Shawn Smith of Caneyville; daughters, Jenny Smith and Penny Hensley (Aaron) of Leitchfield; brothers, Harlen McAdams of Beaver Dam and Daymon McAdams of Hartford; sisters, Judy McAdams of Rockport, KY, Wendy Drake of Hartford, Norma Jean Johnson of Hartford and Barbara Sue Tidwell of Indiana; and six grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Smith, Lexi Geary, Ezra Hensley, and Gavin and Emily Davis.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and two brothers, Tony and Joe Davey McAdams.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (February 14, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Glendon Geary will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oller Cemetery in Caneyville.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
