Rev. Raymond Cummings, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (December 10, 2015) at Grayson Manor in Leitchfield.
He was born on January 1, 1929 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Enos and Dona Embry Cummings.
He was a truck driver and a member of Rabbit Flatt Church, who enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
He is survived by his son Kenny Cummings (Peggy) of Leitchfield; one daughter, Doris Jean Frank (Bill) of Falls of Rough, KY; four grandsons; Marty (Jenny), Brad (Erin), Andy (Tessa), and Chris Frank (Shelli); nine great grandchildren, one sister, Lois Sipes of Caneyville, KY.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Aline Decker Cummings, a great granddaughter Lorris Louise Cummings, five brothers Hesbie, Glen, Junior Earl, Oscar and Pirtle Cummings.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, (December 14, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Marty Cummings will be officiating. Burial will be in the Rabbit Flatt Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
