Raymond King, age 93, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Saturday, (January 20, 2007) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born on April 6, 1913, in Grayson Co, KY, the son of Albert Stewart and Rebecca Saltsman King. He was a retired Oiler for Rogers Quarry and was a deacon and member of the New Freedom Church.

He is survived by his wife, Natella McStoots King, two sons, Alton and his wife, Lorene and Albert and his wife, Denise King, two daughters, Norma Jean and her late husband, Shelton Hayes and Mary and her husband, Buddy Logsdon of Leitchfield, eighteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children, Esther Ray and John King, one grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (January 23, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Ed Dermitt and Bro. Wilbur Oller will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
