Obituary
Raymond Wavy Young, age 77, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Sunday, (June 19, 2016) at the University Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on January 20, 1939, in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Raymond and Hazel Willoughby Young.
He was a farmer, a US Army Veteran and was a member of Yeaman Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Payton Young, two brothers, Denver Young (Wanda) of Bowling Green, KY and Reed Young (Peggy) of Caneyville, six nephews, Edward Ray and William David Hack, Raymond Odell, Christopher, Paul and Mark Young, one niece, Anna Woosley, several great nieces and nephews and also survived by Ruby's daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clayton Young, one sister, Anna Geneva Hack and a nephew, Michael Hack.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, (June 22, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Gary Fox will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oller Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
