Obituary
Retta Frances Hester, age 82, of Vine Grove, KY, passed away Wednesday, (November 7, 2007) in Vine Grove.
She was born on December 10, 1924, in Edmonson County KY, the daughter of Rollie Edward and Eva Jaggers Constant. She was a retired cashier at Houchin's Grocery and was a member of the Hardin County First United Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Ernie Malcolm of Louisville, KY, Jimmie Milton of Richland, MO and Dennis Neal Hester of Vine Grove, one daughter, Loretta Hatfield of Vine Grove, one brother, Gilbert Constant of LaGrange, KY, one half-sister, Flossie Logsdon of Clarkson, 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Opal Hester, four brothers, Essie, Wilbur, Chester and Lester Constant and two sisters, Stella Logsdon and Angie McStoots.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. CST Saturday (November 10, 2007) at the Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church in Leitchfield, under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Ed Dermitt will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mulberry Flats Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CST Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
