Richard Beauchamp, age 78 , of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 10, 2019) at his home.

He was born on May 26, 1941 in Falls of Rough, KY, the son of the late Preston and Kittie Bradshaw Beauchamp.

He was a Lab Technician at Gates Rubber for 38 years, who enjoyed gardening, fishing, photography and traveling and was a member of the West Main Street Church of Christ.

He is survived by his two daughters; Robbin Anderson (Mike) and Kittie Compton, two sons; John Beauchamp and Jerry Beauchamp (Shawna), all of Falls of Rough; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Buster (John) of Short Creek, KY. Two nieces and five great nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jones Beauchamp and the mother of his children, Dallas Beauchamp.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, (December 14, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jeff Richardson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
