Richard John Bitsky, age 58, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (November 14, 2018) at his residence.

He was born on June 27, 1960 in Cicero, IL, the son of the late Art and Arlene Bitsky.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a retired aircraft mechanic for the U.S. Marines. He loved his church, enjoyed riding his scooter, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.

He is survived by his two brothers, Randy Bitsky (Joan) of Leitchfield, KY and Kenneth Bitsky (Tami) of Wedgefield, SC; a sister, Susie Cain (Mike) of Bardstown, KY.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by Aunt Dolly and Grandma Dorothy.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (November 19, 2018) at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Tony Bickett will be officiating.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. and then moved to the St. Joseph Catholic Church where funeral services will take place.
