Obituary
Robert Lewis Anderson, age 94, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (May 2, 2015) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield.
He was born on March 10, 1921, in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late James Robert and Mary Catherine Gaither Anderson.
He was a retired truck driver for the Independent-Key Oil Company for 60 years, who enjoyed fox hunting and playing music and was a member of the Leitchfield First Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Mildred Tomes Anderson, one son, Douglas Anderson of Louisville, five grandchildren, Theresa Dawn Anderson, Laura Lynn Sizer, Jennifer Claire Mattern, Dane Skipton and Delaney Hope Anderson all of Louisville, four great grandchildren, Will, Hayden, and Paige Sizer and Meredith Mattern.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by several siblings.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (May 5, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
