Robert "Bobby" Campbell, age 65, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Monday, (December 11, 2023) peacefully at his home with his devoted wife by his side after his struggle with cancer.

He was born on August 16, 1958 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Woodrow and Betty Ann Probus Campbell.

Bobby retired from the Kentucky Department of Highway Transportation where he was a Civil Engineer. Bobby loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, and having BBQ's at the family farm. He also loved music, especially classic rock and bluegrass.

He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Nancy Lampton Campbell; two sons, Benjamin Campbell and Chris Coates; a daughter, Sarah Geary; two grandchildren, Dawson and Brooklyn; two brothers, Glenn Campbell (Patty) and Don Campbell (Jo); and a sister, Mary Ann McKinney (Steve). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James "Jimmy" Campbell.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, (December 18, 2023) at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Fr. Steve Hohman will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at which time we will move to the church for the funeral mass.
