Robert Floyd Dennison, age 88, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (April 28, 2014) at his home.

He was born on October 24, 1925 in Caneyville, KY, the son of the late Irvin Trammel and Inez Jones Dennison.

He was a Korean Army Veteran, a retired farmer who loved raising chickens, gardening and going to flea markets and was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sisters, Virginia Clemons, Janice Poole (Ralph), Linda Kaelin all of Leitchfield, Marilyn Embry (Louis) of Madisonville, KY and Ina Hack (Frank) of Short Creek, KY, two brothers, Elbert Dennison (Teresa) of Anneta, KY and Albert Dennison of Leitchfield and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene, Jesse and Jones Dennison.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (May 2, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
