Obituary
Robert Creighton Kinkade, age 67, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (December 9, 2016) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on December 12, 1948, in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Jack and Pauline Burden Kinkade.
He was a Veteran of the US Army and a Registered Radiography Technologist at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, where he was proud to have worked for 34 years. He was a history buff who enjoyed automobiles and building model airplanes, watching Louisville Basketball and Oakland Raiders Football and faithfully watched Dr. Charles Stanley on Sundays.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Mattingly Kinkade; a daughter, Michaela Hicks, of Leitchfield; two sons, Brandon and Jason Kinkade both of Leitchfield; and one grandchild, Thomas Hicks.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Simmons
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (December 13, 2016) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Charles Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
